Veterinary medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, control, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, disorder, and injury in animals. It deals with animal rearing, husbandry, breeding, research on nutrition, and product development. The scope of veterinary medicine is wide, covering all animal species, both domesticated and wild, with a wide range of conditions that can affect different species.
Veterinary science helps human health through the monitoring and control of zoonotic disease (infectious disease transmitted from nonhuman animals to humans), food safety, and indirectly through human applications from basic medical research.

If you have passed a Higher Secondary School – You qualify to Apply for a Bachelors’ Degree in Veterinary Medicine at Any Agrarian University in Ukraine.
If you are a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree- You can join a Masters’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine in Ukraine.
Duration of Bachelor Degree in Ukraine: 4 years
Two years – If you graduate outside of Ukraine and continue to Master’s Degree at a Ukrainian University.
One year – If you graduate at a Ukrainian University and continue to Study Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine
