The Kirovograd Flight Academy of the National Aviation University of Ukraine in Kirovograd (Kropyvnytskyi) is considered to be one of the best international flight schools and is the unique component of the national education in Ukraine.
KIROVOGRAD FLIGHT SCHOOL
Flight training is carried out on the following aircraft types: NARP, TL-232, Yak-18T, AN-2, L-410, AN-24, and An-26.
PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (PPL) – ICAO course №231. – Aircraft to complete the training are NARP-1, K-10, Cessna 172.
The course duration is 8 months. The total flight time is 46 hours including 40 hours on aircraft. The training is conducted both in Russian and English.
Start date of training: anytime upon cadets’ recruitment.
Requirements:
1) Age requirement: from 17 years old at the time of obtaining a Private Pilot License in Ukraine.
2) Education: Certificate of Higher Secondary School Education/ A level/ WAEC/ NECO. The candidate must have high grades in Physics and Mathematics, to understand all the processes occurring during the flight of the aircraft and the English language.
3) Health & Fitness: Candidates for training in a Private Pilot License course in Ukraine must meet the requirements of the medical standard of the 2nd class.
COMMERCIAL PILOT (CPL) – ICAO course №232. – Aircraft to complete the training are Аn-2, Cessna -172 RG, HIAТ-650 FT, L-410, An-26, Beechcraft 76.
The course duration is 18 months. The total flight time is 165 hours (including 140 hours on aircraft). Start of study: on request, on group completion. The entry requirement is general secondary education. The training is conducted in Russian & English
COMMERCIAL PILOT with the right to fly multi-engine aircraft by instrumental flight rules – (CPL/MEL/IR) ICAO course №236.
The course duration is 30 months. Total flight time is 300 hours (including 265 hours on aircraft). Start of study: on request, on group completion. The entry requirement is general secondary education. The training is conducted in Russian & English
POST-GRADUATE Level Courses are available as well, training term is 3 years
PREPARATORY Course for foreign students, training term is 10 Months
FLIGHT SIMULATOR CENTRE
The main task of Flight Simulator Training is the high level of flight safety. At present, there are the following complex flight simulators at the State Flight Academy: Yak-42, Yak-40, А n-24, А n-26, L-410 UVP aircraft and А n-2 и Yak-18 Т aircraft for pilots.
